Nice shape to the 19th century papier mache snuff box. Probably Georgian period or early Victorian. The lid has gold decoration. Box measures 25 mm high, 66 mm wide and 38 mm deep (1 inch by 2.3/8 inches by 1.1/2 inches). It clicks shut well, still has good firm "prong" to the front closure. However, the rear hinge is faulted, and it won't stay open unless held. A good display piece.
