Vintage St. Ignace, Michigan souvenir pillow cover, in silken, satiny fabric, with fringe, circa 1950's or earlier. This nostalgic pillow cover features Castle Rock, Marquette Park and Monument, an Indian maiden and an Indian brave, a depiction of Indian Village, and a poem in the center: For-get-me-not, When the golden sun is sinking And your mind from troubles free, When of others you are thinking, Will you sometimes think of me? The sham is predominantly in blues, roses, and gold, with dark blue and gold fringe. It measures approximately 18 inches by 16 inches, and is in very good condition, never used.
