Important rare antique painting Oil on canvas with attribution documentation issued on 03/02/2017 by the Master Niccolò Messeri. The great ancient oil painting on canvas dating back to the first half of the seventeenth century is attributed to the Italian painter Bernardo Canal (1674-1744). Father of the famous painter Canaletto, he has a particular interest in the relationships that his works present with those of his son and other Venetian masters. It seemed therefore opportune to deal here with his production, which was above all of views having only occasionally performed some landscape capriccio. Our work on sale accurately depicts a view of Venice with a boat and young women. In the background the island of San Giorgio Maggiore and the tip of the customs. Today the works of Bernardo Canal are sought after by collectors all over the world. Very high prices are seen in the most important international auction houses. Many works in international museums. The painting is accompanied by a certificate of attribution. The painting comes from an important Italian private collection. Attention the export times of the painting can become longer because given the importance we will have to wait for export documents issued by the Italian Ministry of Fine Arts. The waiting time can be up to a month to have the export documents of the painting.
