This double page hand colored map is from Mitchell's New General Atlas book that was published by S. Augustus Mitchell, No. 815 Arch Street, Philadelphia in 1880. One side (single page) is a map of St. Louis, map is dated 1879. Map area measures 9 1/2" X 12 3/8" not including the detailed grape vine border. The double page map on the other side is of the County Township Map of the States of Iowa and Missouri, measures 12 3/4" X 9 7/8". There are a couple of very tiny edge tears and a small split at the top and bottom of the center fold.
