Bound in modern full mottled dark brown and blind-stamped calf with raised bands with paneled boards. Red title cap. Gilded dentiling on spine. "Being a short and exact analysis of the whole body of modern geography, after a new and curious method. Comprehending: I. A general view of the terracqueous globe; II. Midwinter and others, "the fifteenth edition corrected and somewhat enlarged; and a set of new maps by Mr. Senex", [22] + 432pp., plus 17 maps, as follows: World, Europe, Scandinavia, Muscovy, France, Germany, Poland, Spain and Portugal, Italy, Turkey in Europe, Scotland, England, Ireland, Asia, Africa, North America, and South America. On the North American map, California is shown as an island and florida extends from Modern Florida to Texas. All maps and fold-out maps are complete. Title page is soiled and there were two small holes which have been professionally repaired. The folding map of the world has been professionally backed with a fine linen. Complete.
