An 16 patch pattern quilt top from the 1860's to the 1880's. It is machine pieced and each block measures 10" with 2.5" laterals. It is in excellent condition with no fading or wear or stains. The white spot seen in picture #3 is the reflection of the flash off of the mirrowed door of the cabinet from which it was hung to photograph and not a hole or tear in the fabric. T is one block with a small stain as shown in picture #4.
