We are pleased to be offering today this gorgeous turn of the century tiger sawn oak empire style oak player piano that dates from the 1900s era. It is manufactured by the Aeolian out of New York. It has a serial number embossed on the front of the works that is 102334. Normally it is embossed in the metal, but because of the mechanism I am sure they re-stamp it so that the numbers are out front. The cabinet case itself has a number of 50078 with the style tag on it also as seen in the pictures. The mechanism is all intact. This piano actually belongs to my dad and before he moved it out of a school teacher's house, they played it for him. From there to here it lost its playing ability. I am sure it is something simple like a hose come loose. They said they had a little tape on the bellows and maybe that has come unstuck. You are buying it as is where is. Some of the white strips are off the keys but easily replaced. This piano has some of the nicest tiger sawn oak I have seen in a long time. All the covers and hardware are there. When you flip down the keyboard cover and it exposes all the running gear mechanism. You can tell they have used this a lot as they have worn the black paint on the tags. It has all the makings of a great piano. The overall size is approximately 59 inches wide, 29 inches deep and 55 inches high. Usually this kind of piano has veneer chips on the sides, but this one is pretty flawless with only a couple of small chips. It is in original outstanding condition. This piano only moved about 20 miles from the farmhouse it lived it. There are some piano rolls that come with the piano and I believe that there are about 10. In regards to shipping, you are welcome to come get it from our warehouse. Ply-con will offer you a quote if you call them direct or can hook up your own delivery service.
