This little Psalter is compiled by Silas W. Leonard and A. D. Fillmore from many authors in 1850. This was published by S.W. Leonard and printed by Morton and Griswold. A forward was signed by 8 gentelmen for approval as an excellent book for Churches and singing-schools. There are Elementary Lessons on Rhythm and exercises in the numeral music system of notation. For scales,(modes)do,re,mi,fa,sol,la,si,do = 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-. See photograph. The leather binder is all there but torn in the upper left corner 1/2inch. There are 416 pages with the index. No pages missing or torn. There are a few water marks and yellowing but all is clear and readable. No additions or repairs. Buyer pays S.+ H.
