ANtique Sterling POcketwatch victorian fancy necklace GORGEOUS case and it works too

This sterling silver pocketwatch opens on one side to reveal the works. The front has a really pretty design on the front and back. IT also has the maker which is DMF & Co which is marked on the inside. I wound it and it seems to be keeping time too which was a real bonus. THe way it is made the hinge on the bottom is at an angle even though the face hangs straight. The ornate silver colored ( not sterling) chain is so fancy that it fits in well with this antique watch. The chain links are large ( 3/4" long)and ornate. The chain around the neck is 28" . You can wear this long or short ( since it has a toggle that fits all the round links on the chain), so that you can either have a very long drop and a choker form of necklace or a long one as shown on our model. You can get so many looks with this. The face of the watch is beautiful enamel with gold hands and designs around each number. I can only imagine the original owner of this beautiful piece as someone who had a very artistic or poetic nature. I am selling this as a decorative necklace and not as a watch. I don't know that much about the inner workings of this to be able to tell you anything other than it is running at this moment.
