Yardley Bit of London Ad 1950 This is an April 3, 1950 advertisement It is a nice color ad from Yardley of London and NYC Picture by Anthony Gross. It is a street scene with ladies in vintage dresses and hats. This picture is the background of the ad. In front of this background is a modern well dressed lady in suit, hat and gloves and it reads, There a bit of London in the brilliant air of Yardley, Bond Street Perfume. At the top of the ad in small letters it reads, by appointment perfumers to H M Queen Mary, Yardley, London. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 9 3/4"" wide by 13 1/4"" tall.
