Worlds Fair 1894 pictures, published by the Historical Fine Art series, vol. 1, no 6, Feb. 19, 1894, This Magic City portfolio of photographic vies by smith & Graham Philadelphia. It is photographed in Jackson Park, There are some unusual pictures all done in mauve/purple color Pictured are the Syrian Lancers. The Michigan Loggin camp which was made by the Michigan lumberman, depicting the typical loggin camp erected by Nester Brothers of Baraga. Made entirely of pine logs 20 x 70 fett long. & a Persian taking his comforter, a water pipe, a very elabarate water pipe with tobacco at top, see photo. Other photos not pictured are Turk & persian comparison, Persianswordman, hindostanee delegate to the congress of religions, grand court, a young japanese couple on their honeymoon, bridge over lagoon, mines & mining building, art palace & canadian building. Book is not in good condition, but all pictures would be framable. None of them appear to have damage in the photo itself, just around the borders. See photos, 11 x 13" book size, back cover missing.
