This is a nice, clean antique 1/4" wide socket firmer chisel marked "WEAGEWAY" in a fancy script on the steel. The steel is in very good condition, no rust, some minor pitted in a few small areas, but none effecting the cutting edge, sharp cutting edge, ready to use. The handle is solid, fits good, and has a good leather cap at the end, with only very minor wear. The hardwood on the handle is in great shape, nicely turned, not cracked. The chisel is 11.5" long overall. A nice quality steel, seems to hold a good sharp edge.
