Watch Chain/C.1900/Ladies Victoria or Men's

A really nice vest watch chain. I have never been able to come up with a diffinative answer to the question of "what is the difference between a vesta(men's vest watch chain) or a ladies victoria chain. I feel like this one could be worn by either sex. It has a lovely little slide that has a faux seed pearl and a dark pink (or light red) stone. The stone is most likely glass, but could be a low grade ruby or garnet. They were used quite a lot in this time period. Slide is in good working order. The slide and the ball fobs appear to be rolled gold plate. You can see wear on each of them. The watch hook is marked "K.& S." It could be another symbol other than an appersand between the letters. There is wear to both the hook and the part that slides into a button hole. The chain measures approx. 5" long. The slide is approx. 1/4"X3/8".The ball fobs are approx. 3/8" across. The shipping fees are for priority/Insured in USA only.
