Vintage Widdicomb Buffet Serving Table Cart

This beautiful Widdicomb serving cart on casters is believed to date from the 1950s or 1960s, and is crafted from solid walnut. It features drop leaves on left and right, and three drawers directly beneath a lower stretcher. It measures 40" wide (60" with leaves upright), 18" deep and 30" high. The server on wheels form is surprisingly rare in solid wood, and this is an exceptional example of mid-century design that would complement any vintage or contemporary decor. Underside carries the Widdicomb decal. Designer is unknown. Possible designers include Ralph Widdicombe and Paul McCobb. Overall condition is excellent, with no deep scratches or dents, and only some very light water stains on the top surface.
