Vintage West German Focal Barometer Weather Station

Vintage West German Focal weather station, with a barometer, thermometer, and humidity meter. Each instrument is surrounded in brass and has a domed glass face; the instruments are mounted in a .75 inch thick piece of dark-stained wood which appears to be oak. The instrumentation is on a background that appears to be a thin brass plate with a green marbled effect. The metal backs of each instrument can be removed and each instrument appears to be adjustable. The entire block of instruments can be removed by lifting it off the felt-bottomed brass base. The piece measures approximately 4 inches high, 10.5 inches wide, and 1.75 inches deep. It was manufactured in West Germany for Kmart which was founded in 1962 in Garden City, Michigan by the S.S. Kresge Co. The weather station is in very good condition, with the exception of the cracked glass face of the barometer. The brass and wood shows some surface wear.
