This is a Vintage Victorian RPPC Real Photo of Miss Phyllis Dare English Actress Postmarked Forest Gates 1906. It is marked on the lower left corner with 615.v Matt and G615.V Glossy. Lower right it has J. Beagles & Co. E.C. Phyllis Dare (15 August 1890 – 27 April 1975) was an English singer and actress, famous for her performances in Edwardian musical comedy and other musical theatre in the first half of the 20th century. Her sister Zena Dare was also an accomplished Eduardian actress born on 4 February 1887 and died 11 March 1975 only one month from her sister. We have other cards of Phyllis and Zena on this website.
