Our client's very unusual and rare hanging lamp in the form of a turtle is crafted from bronze and dates from the first or second quarter of the 20th century. The turtle figure measures 21 inches wide and 15 inches deep and measures 33 inches tall from its ceiling cap to the underside. It was designed to accommodate a circular glass shade with 10 inch diameter, now missing. We will be happy to include a brand new replacement as shown in one of our images. Fitted with a single bayonet style socket, suggesting its origin in England or elsewhere in Europe.
