Vintage Solid Square 8 inch

Unavailable

This is a nice antique solid square made several years ago by a tool maker who selected pre-hardened steel for this precision square.  Most likely P-20 steel it is very stable, also noted in the fact that this square is still accurate. (Was checked against another hardened and verified solid square).  The is some noted darkening of the bare metal surfaces, but very little rust or pitting, and only in a few tiny spots.  The blade is 7.45" long and the beam is 4.95" long overall.  The beam is a split center beam with solid pins to hold it together.  Weight is about 1.6 pounds.
