Handsome Seth Thomas quartz "Advisor" desk clock, with a solid walnut wedge-shaped base, beveled glass, and brass trim. The clock features a round white dial, with black hour and minute hands, and a red second hand. It sits on 4 round rubber pads and takes a AA battery. The paper label on the bottom says "MODEL NO. 228, ADVISOR, Seth Thomas by Talley Industries, DIVISION OF GENERAL TIME CORP. NORCROSS, GA 30092, MOVEMENT JAPAN - CASE TAIWAN". The clock measures approximately 1.75 inches high at the back, .625 inch high at the front, 4.75 inches wide, and 6.5 inches deep; it weighs about 1.25 pounds. The clock is in very good condition, with light surface wear and a handful of tiny dent marks in the wood. The clock functions very well and keeps good time.
