Vintage Samson French Porcelain Monkey in Manner of Meissen

This lovely polychrome porcelain figure comes from Samson, dates from the mid 20th century, and is beautifully modelled and crafted in the manner of Meissen.  Measures 27.5 by 13.5 by 13.5 in.  The monkey is very good condition with no sign of damage. The base is an addition fabricated to match the figure. It is slightly mismatched in color with minor flaking to the paint along the lower edge in number of spots.
