Vintage Memory Of Japan Enamel Post WWII Cigarette Case with Mt Fuji and Map
This awesome vintage cigarette case is engraved MEMORY OF JAPAN - SASEBO - HIROSHIMA - KOBE - YOKOHAMA - TOKYO - SENDAI - SAPPORO. It has a colorful enamel design with Mt. Fuji in with a map of Japan. There is a gate, pagoda and cherry blossoms. It measures a little over 3 5/8" by about 3 1/8" by about 1/2". There is wear and loss to the enamel as shown (there is a large area on the back). On the inside the strap that is meant to hold back the cigarettes is broken and there are a few scratched to the silver metal. Even with the current condition it is a wonderful piece of WWII History, . A big reminder of the conflict with Japan.
