This is a nice clean, 4.5 wide x 16.7 long, hand formed ladle that appears to be pewter as it doesn't rust or stain as it is very clean. The handle is wood and fitted into a socket end. A very attractive early kitchen tool. It reminds me of the ranch workers used to get a drink from the water barrel on the horse drawn wagon. I've never seen another one like it.
