Vintage  Lacquered Wood Serving Bowl, Red with Gold Paint, Marked NY made in Japan.   The color is more of a cinnamon red and the subtle art work painted in gold, black and silver are of a house, mountains, harbor and pagoda scene.   It measures 9.25 in diameter across the top and is 4" high.    The bottom is marked.   The condition is very good. There are a few small nicks on the rim and a few scratches inside the bottom of the bowl and a few scratches on the bottom inside the foot ring.
