German souvenir pocket ashtray with "Bayern" (Bavaria) enameled shield on repousse silver-tone metal.  Dates from around the 1950s.  Hinged lid, marked "Ges. Gesch.", which is an abbreviation for trademark, copyright, or patent.  Measures 2.5" x 2" x 1"h.  Excellent condition, does not appear to have been used.  Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
