Blackamoor/Nubian male figurine with black shiny glaze and gold trim, made in the 1950s. Hand-painted red lips and white eye dots. Styled with a turbin, earrings and a dagger. Have seen the female counterpart with a basket or water jug on her head (not included). Possibly California or Stanford Pottery. Measures 9.125"h. Excellent condition with very little wear.
