Victorian Door Divider Tapestrys

Victorian Door Divider Tapestrys. Material of the victorian period is hard to describe, but this is a silky feel and linen with a woven floral design. The panels were hanging in a victorian home and I saw a picture of them to date the time period. They may be older, but they are at least 1880. It is a long piece of material folded in half and sewed to form a 2 1/2" space for a rod to go into to hang for a room divider. If you were wanting to make curtains from this it would make 2 sets easily. This is black with gold thread. It is one of the nicest patterns I have seen. There is some damage to one of the dividers where the rod goes through, but will not be seen if you choose to use them as dividers. I still consider this material mint condition. Museum quality. 47" across x 80" (doubled 160" if used unfolded).
