Our client's antique white marble figure of a reclining Paulina Bonaparte depicted as Venus Victrux after the original by Antonio Canova is finely sculpted, and one of the best grand tour marbles we have offered for sale in our 22 years in business.  28.5 inches wide and 14.75 inches tall.  Apparently unsigned and dating from the 19th century.

There is surface dirt, particularly in crevices, scuffs, scratches, stains and nicks, and small chip losses
