This is a nice old 6" narrow hook rule, marked "UNION TOOL CO. TEMPERED NO. 10". It is only .22" wide x .04" thick. It's in good used condition with some minor staining, and a few tiny pitted areas. A very hard to find steel rule! Union Tool Co. was a well respected precision tool manufacturer in the 1910's-20's era. They made many types of tools, and I can say that none I've seen are of less than top quality in design and constuction.
