This is a nice set of Audels with a complete set of 4 volumes printed and copyright in 1923, reprinted in 1928 2nd printing. One of my favorite reference book sets for information on building and carpentry technics from the 1920's. The 1st volume is very good for information on tools of that days and how to care for them. Each book is 5" x 6.7" has a black leather like pressed cloth semi soft boards, gold gilt spine lettering and page edges. This set is in good++ condition overall, with very minor wear on all volumes on the exterior, but some minor waviness of the top section of the inside paper pages on volumes 1-3 only, no sign of staining on the said inside pages, but some minor edge darkening on the inside cover pages. Volume 1 & 4 has a past owner's name in ink on the blank inside cover paper.  All the covers and spines on all volumes are clean, spines are tight and straight, some minor edge wear or corner bumping. Some minor wear on the gold gilt page edges; Good tight bindings. A nice set of books covering tools, steel square, cutting tools, saw sharpening, nails, screws, joinery, furnature, math, drawings, estimating, house and roof framing, layout, foundations, doors, windows, stair building, millwork, painting, etc. Lots of good information, in this well kept set of vintage carpentry!
