Fabulous tubelined tile of a red lion rampant on a black-speckled field of deep emerald green; made in 1915 after the beginning of the War and one of Minton's China Works last tiles. The tile is in very good-excellent condition with very little wear other than slight rubbing to a few spots of the tubelining and shallow surface mark near lower left corner.
