Calzoncillos or short pants , traditional Santiago Atitlan's men's pants. The white base cloth is woven on a back-strap loom and the pants are hand- embroidered on the leg - front and back. They are embroidered on both sides and the embroidery is very fine and detailed. These traditional pants now are much harder to find as not as many young men are wearing traditional dress and the women are not making them much anymore. This pair I purchases directly from the lady who made them. They are new and never been worn.
