Butterfly Wing Art Mahogany Souvenir Tray with Reverse Painted Glass , Brazil South America Souvenir. It has map of South America with Brazil writen across the country of Brazil. On either side of the map is some tropical scenes within a canoe shape cut out. On the bottom of tray it is marked " Santos". It also has the original label on the back. It measures 11 inches x 18.5 inches. The wood is mahogany with two handles. There are some condition issues. There are some scratches on the wood. And there are some areas where the reverse black painting is pulling away from the glass and revealing some sparkly under layer. Some of the pulling away or bubbling is over the butterfly wing are and the border with in the map. The art part is barely effected. I would imagine that this can be restored. The wings look to be in fine shape. Normally trays of this size and detail sell for about 75 to 100 dollars so I priced this one much lower due to the imperfections.
