A model of the tall ship "AMERIGO VESPUCCI" made of sterling silver mounted on a hardwood plinth with a brass plaque engraved with the ship's name.
This magnificent model is entirely handcrafted of sterling silver. It consists of many elements, each made with great attention to detail. The model features three tall masts with sails, flags, and rigging, five lifeboats, two motorboats, two anchors, and other equipment. The entire model is highlighted with gold and bolted to a wooden plinth.

The ship's sail bears silver hallmarks from the 20th century, including a 925 silver proof mark, also known as sterling silver. The typical 20th-century Italian silversmith hallmark can also be found, which is a polygon with a five-pointed star, along with the silversmith registration number "87" and the letters "FI" for city Firenze. NOTE: The Amerigo Vespucci is a tall ship that belongs to the Italian Navy, also known as Marina Militare. It's named after the famous explorer Amerigo Vespucci and is based in La Spezia, Italy. This ship serves as a school vessel and is used for educational purposes.
