Steel Zig-Zag Rule Made in Germany 72 inch Folding

Quantity available: 1

This is a nice, clean steel 6' folding rule marked "MADE IN GERMANY". This one is about 5/8" wide on each section, and has inch graduations on both sides. It is similar to the Lufkin No. 1176 in the design of the notes, but is lighter duty, thinner, and the markings are not stamped as deeply into the steel. The joints function in basically the same way as the lufkin, lock in place nicely, and hold there well. It is marked with 16ths inch graduation on both sides. This style folding joint this rule has works very well, and this used rule is in good++ working order in the joints, and steel sections areas, with only a little wear on the graduation markings, visible and easy to read. Joints are snug as they should be, some minor staining/steel darkening noted, but very clean overall. Some of the black paint on the numbers is worn off, but the markings are deeply enough stamped into the steel, so they can still be seen just fine. We note no rust pitting or damage. This is the first we have seen of this type in this size, and in good++ usable condition. Well worth the price! Near impossible to find these days!
