This is a nice clean 12", 4 fold boxwood carpenter's rule, very well made, and in good++ condition. It is marked "NO. 69" on two side, and matches the description of the Stanley No. 69 in the old catalogs. Stanley didn't usually mark there very small rules, and most we have seen do not have the Stanley name on them. As you can see in the pictures, there is very little wear on this rule, but some noted around the two pins area from closing the rule up without the pins being aligned, otherwise in very good condition with all three alignment pins intact. All the graduation are still clearly seen, with a 12" total length, graduations in 8ths, and 16ths. No warping to report. A very nice, hard to find, carpenter's rule overall!
