Stanley No. 86 Screwdriver Wood Handle Flat Blade

Unavailable

This is a nice, clean, flat steel blade screwdriver with a nicely turned wood handle that has flats on the rounded end so it doesn't roll around or off the workbench! It is 4.6" long overall. It is not marked by Stanley, but it matches the Stanley No. 86 model, manufactured between 1897 and 1927. The handle is made of beech, with a thick ebonized finish, and is in very good condition, not cracked, with a nice slotted brass ferrule. The steel blade is straight, and rust free. This model was often included with some boxed sets of tools, like the No. 45 plane and cutters sets. Very nicely made, top quality.
