Stanley No. 5C Corrugated Jack Plane War Production

$105.00
Quantity available: 1

This is a very clean Stanley Jack plane from the World War II era. It is 14" long x 2" wide cutter. It has nearly all of it's original Japanning, very clean! The bed is the heavy wall type that Stanley made during the War period. The hardwood handle and knob are in very good condition no cracks, clean very nice most of the black finish on them. The cap cover has the kidney shape screw hole and is marked "STANLEY" in raised lettering, and has most of the nickel plating intact and the orange paint around the Stanley name. The bed is marked "BAILEY MADE IN U.S.A. NO. 5" and the cutter is marked with the rectangular logo "STANLEY MADE IN U.S.A.". The bare metal surfaces are all very clean, no rust very little wear, a few tiny edge dings noted. A very nice plane with a good corrugated bottom for ease of use!
