Japanese Satsuma vase pair with mirror image designs. Moriage decoration adorning a female flute player being watched by a male counterpart. Meiji period, circa 1900. Metallic gold trim, some of which is worn on the rims and high points of the handles. Each vase measures 7.5"h. Painted in red with what appears to be the mark for "Yuzan", and possibly the marks for left or right, regarding the images. No chips or cracks, just the wear to the gold as described. Sold as is.  Price recently reduced.  Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
