Our beautiful potpourri or cassolette in porcelain with cobalt blue glaze and ormolu bronze mounts stands an impressive 21 in (53.3 cm) tall and features an acanthus leaf finial, pierced guilloche motif with large scrolling handles, set upon a base with reed-and-tie motif, leaf cast legs with paw feet on a plinth pedestal.   Underside of the lid shows a spurious double-l mark of Sevres and the inside of the bowl is gilt metal, apparently lacquered brass.
