Schreiner Pink, Peridot & Clear Rhinestone Faux Pearl Wire Branch Brooch & Clip Earrings

Unavailable

"Schreiner wire designs like these were made entirely by hand, produced one at a time. Initially created by Albert Ambrose (son-in-law of Henry Schreiner), other employees eventually learned the technique." "For every one sold, there were approximately 50 produced. … They were delicate … and parts could break off … then the piece was garbage." quotes taken from Schreiners, Masters of Twentieth-Century Costume Jewelry, pg. 174 by Carole Tanenbaum/Eve Townsend (2017).  This set is in excellent condition, all pink, peridot and clear stones are reverse set, faux pearls are in wonderful condition, and no broken wires.  It has a black Japanned finish which is flawless. The earrings have the donut hole clips which Schreiner is so well known for.  Although this set is unsigned, it has been verified, and is listed in the Schreinery website as Piece ID #YNUZ70
Excellent unused condition. 1950's-1960's  I added a last photo lightened up so you can see the beautiful color of the peridot rhinestones.
