This is a nice old heavy duty socket mortise/firmer chisel in good sharp ready to use condition. It's marked "SAMSON"  with a slightly uneven stamp strike on the steel. A nice clean chisel with no rust, some very minor pitting noted, that isn't effecting the cutting edge. The size is .375" wide x 11" long steel only, and 15.5" long overall. This chisel is very sharp now. A top quality chisel, by a well known quality tool maker!
