Here's a FANTASTIC OLD SALT GLAZE STONEWARE JUG! It has a really UNIQUE DESIGN - with "SWIRLED RIDGES" running up the sides!! There are a few darker areas in the glaze - they look sort of like "TURKEY DROPPPINGS", but they aren't raised. This jug is in FANTASTIC CONDITION for its age. I can't find any chips, cracks or repairs - other than a very tiny nick at the bottom rim (I really had to look and feel to even discover it!) This is such a truly unique piece - it would make a wonderful addition to YOUR POTTERY / STONEWARE COLLECTION! Insurance is included in shipping and handling.
