Royal Worcester Reticulated Porcelain Potpourri Jar Vase and Cover

Unavailable

Our Royal Worcester potpourri jar dates from 1880. It's in good condition, with scratches and some losses to the gilding, and a number of very small chip losses to the edges of the underside, and at the lip of the cover. Cover and jar carry the firm's mark, each with R code for the year 1880.

This relief molded and pierced vase with Persian style floral bands, extensive gilding and turquoise is possibly by the notable articulator and original master of the technique for Royal Worcester, George Owen (1845-1917).
