Rock Island System Railroad Ad California Pilgrimage. Late 1800 or early 1900 advertisement by Golden State Limited of Rock Island System, Southern Pacific Co., Sunset Route, for a Holiday trip to California. They also offer illustrated literature descriptive of California. This is a nice black and white ad with nice graphics from an early magazine showing two young ladies and one gentleman by a covered wagon or stage. John Sebastian is Passenger Traffic Manager of Rock Island in Chicago, Ill. Mint condition. Photo may reflect wrinkles that is in the plastic and not in the ad. Measures 6 1/2" by 9 3/4" tall.
