We are pleased to be offering today this very difficult and hard to find in this 8 foot stick and ball fancy scroll cutout 100% oak gallery that dates from the 1880s to 1890s era. It is a beautiful piece in the original finish. There is only one small stick and ball 2” spindle missing that I believe our cabinetmaker can replace. It is in the dark old stain finish. Look at the fanciness. It has double scrolls on top each other, fleur-de-lis in the center, 2” high stick and ball gallery all the way down. When I built my first home I bought one that was 6’ long for $400 back in 1973 and it was birch and no where as nice and fancy!! I got more comments on that then some of my rare pieces of antique furniture when friends visited. These are very tough to find in good condition. The overall size is 8’ long and 17 inches high. Each spindle is 2.5 inches high approximately. Shipping will vary but it could be anywhere from $85 to $200 based on your location.
