A rare and large decorative green jasper bowl, Suitable for use as a fruit bowl or other presentation. The color is deep rich green with yellow, ochre, burgundy and white veining. Raised on a shaped stem and foot. This green variety of jasper with red spots, known as heliotrope (bloodstone), is one of the traditional birthstones for March. Measures: 8.5" high x 12" diameter The appeal of jasper is its interesting color patterns and Formations. Though it can be a solid color, it is most often mottled, spotted, ringed, or striped.
