Rare Beauty Demi parure - huge Brooch - blue clip on earrings - poured glass - dangle drops - signed Austria - couture jewelry

I have never seen another like this and have never offered it for sale before. This heavy huge set is even nicer than the most expensive Schreiner brooches I have ever seen. I am going to guarantee that that you are going to love the beauty of this set or you can return if if you don't think it is just gorgeous. Layers of dark patina metal filigree raise up to hold these these massive givre glass stones in the center of the brooch. Two large clear paste stones are on each top side and they are beautiful old stones. The brooch holds three poured glass stone drops that are quite large and have a marbled effect. There are three raised filigree adornments that finish off this massive brooch. And even better I have the matching original earrings to this set ( included). The sheer size and amount of detail on these make me think that other costume manufacturers used this style as their own. I have seen Schreiner brooches that are similar in design and I believe this set is older than when their sets came out. The brooch, as I said is quite substantial. It measures almost 4" long x 2 1/2" wide and is almost 3/4" THICK. I know the photos don't show you all the sides of this but it is full of the most amazing metal work you can find in old costume jewelry. THe earrings are clip on are just as massive as the brooch. No attention to detail on this set was missed. All the pieces are marked Austria. All the clear stones have some sort of ink blue coloring just under the stone. All the stones are hand set and prong set. I don't see any real flaws in the set. The metal has some aging but it is really well made and has the most beautiful coloring. The photos don't do this one justice which is why I am guaranteeing you are going to think this is gorgeous. It should really be in a museum and I am that confident that you will be impressed. I am selling the set as is so please look at the photos closely. THe only thing I see on it is the blue in the large clear stones ( maybe they were made that way,I am not sure).
