Our lovely gilt bronze mantel clock, circa 1820, features the finely sculpted and cast figures of male and female troubadours in medieval attire, playing flute and harp, surmounted by crown with lyric motif, with frieze decorated with figurative scenes.  Music book on left displays sheet music entitled Air du Troubadour.
