Primitive iron candle stand, with 7 candlestick holders measuring in height from approximately 28 inches to 40 inches. The stems of the candle holders appear to be about 1/2 inch in diameter; they have indented, diagonal slash marks resulting in a spiral effect. The base of this very solid and substantial piece measures approximately 9 inches in diameter. It weighs approximately 19 pounds. The age and origin is unknown. It would look great as a functional piece on a porch, in a sunroom, on a hearth, or as a decorative primitive piece in any setting. The condition is very good and very solid.
