Primitive Black Woman riding a Black Horse.Rag Doll. The piece measures 12 inches tall and 9 inches wide. The woman is stuffed black cotton and has painted facial features and large hoop earrings. She wears an orange shirt, a green and white polka dot with orange trimmed skirt and headscarf. The horse is made of stuffed black cotton with a straw tail, has a painted face and a brown/black mane made of threads. Upon the horses back there are straw baskets on both sides with cotton balls made to look like fruit or vegetables that fill the baskets. The horse is mounted on a piece of cardboard that is worn and could easily be replaced. This rare one of a kind doll is in very good condition and comes from a smoke and pet free home.
